Training for leaders and laity is lacking, but is being addressed. The one small Pentecostal Bible school in Yerevan has been joined by a Baptist theological college and a new theological academy through the Armenian Missionary Association of America. AIMS conducts valuable leadership training seminars. Armenian Christian workers are strategically located to bless surrounding nations, since Armenia is an island of Christianity in a sea of Islam.
